AC is offering the rest of the NFL season for only $99, which include basketball thru the Superbowl. We got off to a nice start with a win on New Orleans over San Antonio.

    New Mexico St vs Auburn
PLAY on New Mexico St +22.5

Auburn has no business being a 3 TD + favorite against anybody, as they are having a miserable season with the prospect of an 0-8 campaign in the SEC. Statistically, they do not have as big an advantage as you may think over a team like New Mexico St, and ove rthe past 3 games, that advantage is even smaller. Both teams do turn it over quite a bit, with margins over -1 per game. Even though New Mexicao St isn't very good and is traveling quite a ways for this game, I just can't see laying over 3 TD's with a team that turns the ball over, gives up over 5 YPC and 7 YPA, and is only converting 27% on 3rd downs.

    Carolina vs Washington
    PLAY on Washington - 3

Another tough Loss for the Panthers as they lost on a last second FG by the Bears last week. This isn't a very tough team to begin with and it always seems to find a way to lose, so all of these close losses may begin to add up to a tough seconf half of the season. Washington, particularly its young QB, found out that the Steeler defense is tough on rookie QBs, no matter who is on the field. However, that should not be the case this week with Carolina. Washington has a nice edge in teh running game, 5.4 YPC vs 4.3 YPC, but is only converting 30% on 3rd down. Carolina has an edge in defending the pass, 6.8 YPA vs 7.6 YPA, but that isn't transferring to stopping teams on 3rd down, as both are at 43%. In addition, Carolina has a negative turnover margin of -.6, which is always problematic for a road team. Because of this, and the fact that the Redskins have played better football over the past three games, we will lay the points with the Redskins.
