    Week 9 Recap

Week 9 saw us get back on the winning track, going 5-2 and building our units earned to 12.3. If you are a $100 per game bettor, you would be up $1,230 for the season. We are hitting 57% in NCAAF, 65% in NFL, and 60% on our best bets.

    NCAAF

The folks in Michigan must be wondering who that guy was masquerading as Rich Rodiquez during his time in Ann Arbor. He certainly wasn't the guy from Morgantown and not the guy currently residing in Tuscon. In his first year at Arizona, the Wildcats now control their own destiny in the Pac 12 South after defeating USC on Saturday. Speaking of USC, along with Oklahoma, they are no longer BCS Title contenders. They'll be lucky to get the the Pac 12 championship game. They will need to beat Oregon this week to have any chance. If they don't, their season will be relegated to playing spoiler to Notre Dame's title chances. Not excactly wha tthe preseason #1 team had in mind, or what Matt Barkley had in mind when returning for his senior season. If LSU upseats Alabama, that could spell the end of the SEC's run of BCS Championships at six. I say upset because the oddsmaker has installed LSU as a 10-pt home dog to the Crimson Tide this weekend. Here is some food for thought: Kansas St had the same over/under total for wins as Auburn at 7.5. To quote that genius Rick Perry, eh oops. Really Texas, excited after that come from behind win at Kansas? Tough week for Oregon, even though they put up a 70 spot on Colorado. With Oregon St and USC losing, they could end up as the undefeated team on the outside looking in.

    AC's top 5: 1. Bama 2. Oregon 3. K-State 4. Notre Dame 5. LSU

    This weeks games:

Alabama vs LSU - Last road game of the year for the Crimson Tide. The oddsmaker isn't viewing this as that big of a test, installing the Tide as a double digit road favorite
Oregon vs USC - not looking as that big a game as it did a few weeks ago
    NFL

Midway point for most teams. I don't expect any blockbuster trades this week. The way things are going, Andy Reid and Norv Turner better start hiring Real Estate agents. You can probably add Rex Ryan to that list if the NY Jets keep getting embarrassed at home. Houston and SF are one thing, but Miami? It is time to retire these throwback uniforms. They are throwbacks for a reason. I realize the NFL is in the business of marketing, but looking at some of these has actually made me change the channell. This week games:

Philadelphia vs New Orleans: do or die for both of these teams
Dallas vs Atlanta: tough task for the Cowboys to stop the bleeding
Pitt vs NY Giants: The NFL better make sure the Steelers wear their real uniforms
