Sacramento Kings at Utah Jazz 9:05 pm EST

It’s been 3 weeks since Sacramento played a road game and it doesn’t take much for these players to become creatures of habit. The last time the Kings saw another floor besides the one at Arco was on November 19th right here in Utah where they won 118-110. The Jazz lost despite a 52-32 advantage in the paint and a 19-10 edge in fast break points. Sacramento couldn’t miss as they shot a lights out 58.0%. We don’t see a repeat of that especially since the Kings will be in a new environment for the first time in 8 games. They are only 2-4 on the road this year while the Jazz are 11-2 at home. Sacramento is allowing an NBA high 109.5 ppg on the road. Utah is 5th in the league in home FG% at 45.4% so they will be able to score their points similar to last time. Part of the problem to the Kings woes on the road is their rebounding where they are averaging nearly 7 less rpg than they are grabbing at home. Bobby Jackson and Anthony Peeler are out, and the team is taking a wait-and-see approach with the guards as both are listed as questionable for Friday’s game. Utah is an NBA best 16-4 ATS and they are 11-2 ATS as underdogs including 5-1 ATS as home dogs.
