    NBA FREEBIE: 2* SA/NJ UNDER

A rematch of the NBA Finals is on tap on Wednesday night when the San Antonio Spurs visit the banged-up New Jersey Nets.

San Antonio defeated New Jersey in six games in June, capturing its second NBA championship. The Spurs won Games Three and Five at Continental Airlines Arena.

The Spurs welcomed back two-time reigning MVP Tim Duncan and Tony Parker and ended a two-game skid with an 87-78 victory over Utah on Monday. Duncan returned after missing three games with a sprained ankle and Parker made his season debut after being out with the same injury, Duncan collected 16 points and 10 rebounds and Parker added nine points, making just 2-of-10 shots from the floor.

Nets forward Kenyon Martin has missed the last five games with a left ankle sprain, but may return tonight. Martin suffered through a dismal performance in the Nets' Game Six loss, shooting 3-of-23 for six points and 10 rebounds. New Jersey has lost three of five games without Martin, including Sunday's 98-84 setback in Detroit. Jason Kidd played a season-high 45 minutes and finished with 18 points and 11 assists.

Kidd has logged at least 40 minutes in every game as the Nets have been unable to find an adequate backup. Last year, the team used Anthony Johnson, who signed as a free agent with Indiana.

Besides Martin New Jersey is without Rodney Rogers (hand), Lucious Harris (back) and Brian Scalabrine (hip flexor).

The team split two regular-season meetings last season. The Nets have won the last three regular-season home meetings with the Spurs. SA is under 7 of 8 games on the season while NJ has played under in all 3 at home. 8 of the last 10 in this series have gone under the offshore total.
