The Top Ten ranked Panthers of the Big East Conference under their Head Coach Jamie Dixon are 21-2 Straight Up, and 11-6 Against The Spread on the season. Interestingly enough the top six teams in the Conference are Top Twenty ranked, showing the Big East's strength. The Panthers have been taking no prisoners lately and shouldn't on National TV here, and already handled these Mountaineers on the Road last month. Positive trends include 4-1 ATS lately in this Series, 38-29 ATS versus winning teams, and 36-25 ATS as Favorites.
The Mountaineers enter this Conference match up under their Head Coach Bob Huggins at 16-7 SU and 9-11 ATS on the year. They've been hard to gauge, but are coming off an easy win over Providence as Prohibitive Home Favorites on Saturday. Negative trends for the Mountaineers here include 2-8 ATS versus good Offensive teams, 1-4 ATS after scoring 80 or more points, and 11-15 ATS on the Road.
