GRADE 3 release on Maryland +16.5 came up just short on Thursday night as the Terrapins fell to West Virginia by the count of 31-14. West Virginia was able to control the game with huge running plays and Maryland turnovers including a fumble on the game's opening play set the tone and prevented Maryland from having any real chance of competing in this one.
The loss drops the record of GRADE 3 releases to 9-2-1 on the season, and sends the season mark overall to 13-6-1 (68.4%) +5.97u. Certainly not a devastating loss, so I will look to regain the losses by producing positive results with the Saturday action.
All Saturday plays are ready to go and can purchased by using any of the three options below. AFTERNOON package consists of six plays.....(1) GRADE 5, (1) GRADE 4, and (4) GRADE 3 selections. EVENING package consists of five plays....(1) GRADE 5, (1) GRADE 4, and (3) GRADE 3 selections. Either of the packages can be purchased for $20 each, or $30 for both.
Here are my NCAA Football free plays for Saturday's action...
Virginia Tech -20.5
I smell a beat down coming to Blacksburgh and the victim will be Ohio University. After two poor games, I anticipate this Hokies team rebounding strong at home and taking out some frustration against this MAC opponent.
Michigan -7
Both teams come into this one needing a win. I'm not sure which team has looked more pathetic....Wolverines or the Irish. The underdog has covered 10 of the last 11 in this series, and have won 8 of the 11 SU. That trend stops here as there is way more talent on the offensive side of the ball for Michigan....and they find a team as pourous defensively as themselves. Irish drop to 0-3 and bleed some more after this beating.
Southern California -10
Southern California is simply more talented and after watching Nebraska's lack of imagination offensively, I think Carroll will have something to exploit this team. While Big Red might put up a fight early, by the end of this game the Trojans will have sent the Huskers back to the farm.
GOOD LUCK today with your action....
