Fresno St. Bulldogs at Texas A&M Aggies 3:30 PM ET

    Texas A&M Aggies -17 -108

Fresno St is coming off a very convincing win over Sacramento St. as the final score does not even indicate the domination. However, the Bulldogs were in no position to take any team for granted after last season's surprisingly bad 4-8 record while they also gave Utah St. its only win. The dominating defense now leads the nation in total defense after yielding a mere 102 yards, though it was against a program that has suffered six straight losing seasons and is undergoing an offensive make-over under a first-year coach.

It was pretty much the opposite for Texas A&M who won by 31 points yet Montana St. outgained the Aggies' offense 403 yards to 390, held the ball longer and limited quarterback Stephen McGee to 112 yards passing. Let’s not forget that the Bobcats defeated Colorado in their opener last season and are one of the top FCS teams in the nation. It was a very good tune-up with the Bulldogs coming to town, much more better than what Fresno St. faced.

As dominating as Fresno St. looked, other issues such as the play of quarterback Tom Brandstater, the receivers and the run defense remain to be answered more accurately when faced with a more formidable opponent. Turnovers played roles in both games as Fresno St. turned it over three times while the Aggies forced two turnovers from Montana St. as mentioned in another game writeup, these are very contagious and those trends could continue here and factor in the outcome.

As a matter of fact, Fresno St. is 0-9 ATS after a game where it forced one or less turnovers over the last two seasons. The Texas A&M home victory is part of a great situation favoring the Aggies. Play on home favorites of 10.5 to 21 points off a home blowout win by 28 points or more with four or more total starters returning than opponent. This situation is 25-4 ATS (86.2 percent) since 1992 with the average point differential being +22.4 ppg. Play Texas A&M Aggies 1 Unit
