One of the most interesting match-ups next weekend has to be Oregon at Michigan. Oregon is in off the win over Houston where their defense gave up 3 big plays but came up with a block punt and a couple turnovers as they pulled away late in the 3rd and 4th to cover. Of course we all know what happened with Michigan last week yet they are opening as a 7 point favorite. There will be two schools of thought in this game. The public will be saying how in the world can Michigan be favored by 7 after week 1. The second will be that Michigan will bounce back off the loss and teams are never as bad as they seem off a bad loss. Can Carr get Michigan ready to bounce back? The Ducks could be catching them at the best of times or the worst of times. My gut tells me the public will be on the Ducks but I will be watching this line all week. The Michigan defense probably is just as bad as we think after week one however their offenes may be able to control the ball vs. this Ducks defense. This game may not be the best wagering game, I will watch the line all week and keep an eye on the local Michigan news to see how the team is reacting this week in practice. My early lean is that Michigan is not as bad as they looked and this will be a tough spot for the Ducks. I will wait to see if the early money is moving on the Ducks or if the line holds through Wednesday. If the line is holding that is a good indication that Michigan may be a sharp play with sharp money behind it. Keep an eye on it.
