The Big News for tonights game is that Donovan McNabb will not play for the Eagles. A.J. Feely and the first string offense are expected to play the entire first quarter. Kelly Holcomb will should play the second quarter along with the second team offense. Top Draft pick Kevin Kolb is expected to take over and play the entire second half.
Steve Mcnair will start for Baltimore and will probably play 10-15 plays. He will be followed by Kyle Boller. Drew Olson and Troy Smith will finish up behind center for Baltimore.
Baltimore:
Kyle Boller has impressed everyone during the Ravens training camp. He will be a free agent after this season, so he will be looking to impress any would be suiters with each snap of the ball. Drew Olson and Troy Smith are both battling for the third string QB spot on the roster. Both of these guys will try to perform to the best of their abilities tonight.
Philadelphia:
Look for Feely to have a decent game, he knows that he must be ready when the regular season starts because McNabb has been injury prone the past couple of years. Kelly Holcomb will follow Feely. Philadelphia should not score much during the second half. Kevin Kolb will be behind center, and Andy Reid has said the he just wants to give Kolb a chance to get under center and get some reps in a game situation. He intends to give several running backs on the roster a strong look. This should result in a Baltimore Cover.
Take Baltimore -3 1/2 for 3-Units.
