Pre-Season Football Kicks off Today!!!
New Orleans and Pittsburgh square off in the Hall of Fame Game at Canton, Ohio tonight. Although this is listed as a Neutral Site game, Pittsburgh will obviously have a home field advantage. Both teams look to let their starters play from 12-15 plays before letting the subs take over.
Pittsburgh will start Big Ben, followed by Charlie Batch, while New Orleans will start Drew Brees and follow up with little used backup Jamie Martin.
Jason Fife and Tyler Palko are expected to finish the second half behind center for New Orleans, while Brian St. Pierre and Bryan Randall will do mop up duty for Pittsburgh.
Last year, New Orleans Head Coach Sean Payton went 1-3 straight up and after the spread in pre-season games, showing that he was more interested in evaluating personnel that winning pre-season games.
New Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin has ran a very strict training camp, while showing no mercy in pre-season practices. Tomlin may be feeling pressured to win after replacing Bill Cowher as Pittsburgh's first new head coach in 15 years.
Rain is expected for tonight's game (80 % Chance of showers),
Take Pittsburgh -3 for 3-Units.
Thanks and Good Luck.
