  • July 16 MLB

    July 16th, 2007

Another debacle type start to Sunday that went deep into the afternoon before mercifully turning around late to end the day with a marginal profit. Totals for the day were 5-6 +0.14.

A repeat of Saturday with the first pair of plays just flopping around like dying fish as neither Pittsburgh nor Cincy ever had a chance to make good. Then the aggravation started as both Houston and Tampa Bay posted nice early leads to only see them evaporate in respective 7-6 losses. The first win of the session came courtesy of the runline (now 2-0 on the season) as Cleveland beat back KC 5-3.

The day took a turn for the better as Minnesota kept the bad momentum going for the A's in a 4-3 win. Texas somehow rallied to a huge win as a +180 dog, 5-4. Closed out the session with a pair of W's as San Diego did their job in a 4-0 rout, and St Louis finally got a win vs Philly by a 10-2 count.

Turning to the Monday menu of games, I see some nice trends that I hope to exploit and once again I am playing one runline selection. Braves and Cubs are hot, the A's are not, and most of the rest are right where I want to see them. Here are the plays I am hoping to make some coin with.....

    Atlanta -- Davies (-1.5) +110

    Colorado -- Buchholz -107

    Chicago(NL) -- Hill -134

    Arizona -- Owings +145

    San Diego -- Wells -112

    Chicago(AL) -- Danks +160

    Toronto -- Towers +145

    Seattle -- Ramirez -135

    Texas -- Wright +138

The very BEST OF LUCK on your action today...
