This encounter has some very strong trends and conditions that highly
favor the Thundering Herd, and they are laying only 5 points while at
home at the time of this writing. The Green Wave is coming off a
nice ATS victory over Army, but Marshall is also coming off a victory
over Memphis, which was only their second home game in the first
seven. Whoever made this schedule out that had them playing at WVU,
Kansas State and Tennessee should be shot. Now they are coming home
with a chance to start getting healthy.
It is important to note that this is a rare trip east into cold
weather for Tulane, and it could be in the high 20's by game time
late Saturday evening. This is at least a 25 degree temperature
swing for the Green Wave and really favors the Herd. TU is 5-5 in
November ATS, but only 2-8 on artifical turf, and 1-9 ATS in the last
ten within Conference USA. They are 3-6 ATS in the last 9 on the
road, and 5-10-1 in their last 16 overall ATS. Marshall is a sweet
10-3 ATS in November home games and 19-6 SU in their last twenty in
Huntington, WV. Take Marshall and win by double digits Saturday.
