Who the heck are the Gophers to be giving anyone six points? Indiana is 5-4 this late in the season for the first time in a long time, and they are 3-1 ATS over their last four including wins over Iowa and Michigan St. The Hoosiers are also a decent 3-2 ATS versus the Big 10 this season, a direct contrast to the 1-4 ATS Minny has in the conference. Minnesota is also 3-5 ATS overall and 1-4 ATS versus teams with a winning record. Indiana has impressed us enough to feel that they can stay within this generous number.
LSU -4 against Tennessee.
We had Tennessee beat us last week when we went against them, but this game is pretty strange if you look at the numbers. First of all, Ainge is a gametime decision at quarterback for the Vols, but even if he plays, how effective can he truly be against an active defense like the Tigers bring? LSU is ranked #13 and on the road, and they are favored over a better ranked #8 team who is at home, fishy. LSU is 5-1 ATS as a favorite this season and 7-3 ATS on the road in the past three seasons (37-26 ATS on the road since 1992). Tennessee is just 5-13 ATS on the road over the past three seasons and 1-6 ATS in November.
