Today the National Sports Advisors look for LSU to win and cover as -15 point favorites tonight over Arizona.

The #8 ranked LSU Tigers and their stellar defense will matchup with the Arizona Wildcats at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge tonight.

LSU opened the season by blowing out Louisiana-Lafayette 45-3 last week. The Tigers defense extended it's streak to 10 quarters without allowing a touchdown. The Tigers haven't given up a touchdown to an opposing offense since Georgia quarterback D.J. Shockley scored on a 7-yard run in the second quarter of last year's SEC championship game.

LSU defensive back Jonathan Zenon had two interceptions for the first time in his career, including a 20-yard return for a touchdown in the first quarter of last week's win. LSU held the Cajuns to eight first downs and 176 yards of total offense.

Despite losing five starters from last season, LSU's defense should still be among the SEC's best and one of the best in the nation. The Tigers ranked third in the country last season in total defense and points allowed, giving up 266.8 yards and 14.2 points per game.

LSU should get more of a challenge this week despite Arizona putting up just 253 yards of offense in their 16-13 season-opening victory over BYU.

However, with LSU visiting fourth-ranked Auburn to open SEC play next week, LSU should be prepared to turn this game into a rout to rest their starters in the 4th quarter.

"We can't look past Arizona, because they have a high-powered offense and come from a good conference," linebacker Ali Highsmith said. "If we go out there and aren't focused on the team we are playing, it could cause some costly mistakes during the game."

The Wildcatswere far from high-powered in their season debut. Willie Tuitama completed 19 of 39 passes for 189 yards, and the Arizona ground game was limited to just 67 yards, 54 of which came on one jaunt by Chris Henry.

The bottom line is LSU is far too talented and should feast on a mediocre Arizona team that will be outclassed under the bright lights in Tiger Stadium tonight. LSU destroyed Arizona 59-13 in Tempe last season and tonight should be another walk in the park for the Tigers. Look for LSU to win going away by 24 plus points tonight. Play LSU -15.
