a 3-3 night IS NOT what I have in mind for picks. Let's shoot for another 7-0 like Wednesday! Last night recap:
MINN -170 - WIN
CLEVE -130 - lose
S.F +120 - WIN
Drays -120 - lose (2-1 bummer)
Pitt +135 - lose (5-4 bummer squared)
STL/BOST (O) 11.5 - WIN (unreal)
FOR 2-NIGHT:
Atlanta +125
Love the Braves getting the + with that great offense and very good pitching even though they are at Seattle. Mariners offense has inexplicably shut down even at home. Garcia had been getting hammered except for his last stellar outing getting 13 runs to work with. Won't happen vs the Braves as Atlanta could win this squeaker.
Balt -170
Ponson going to the All Star game and Rusch heading to AAA. The bats came back to the O'S last night and look for them to embarrass G. Rusch early and often.
CWS-240/ANGEL -200 Parlay 1.13:1
Too much wood to lay independently but worth the Franky to get a Franky + back! But what is worth the value is:
CWS -1.5 -110
Loaiza vs. Jarvis? White Sox hitters vs. SD hitters? King Kong vs. Cheeta? These 3 all have the same results with the first choice winning BIG BIG BIG!!
MINN -160
Santana for the Twins has cemented his spot in the starting rotation. He had absolutely great stuff and don't look for Reed to get his spot back when "healthy". Twins should also get Eric Milton back in the next two weeks and they will be set. Look for the Twins offense to check out Webb the first 3 innings and then jump him for enough to get the hook. Johann should be stable throughout the D-Backs O through 7 innings.
KC/SF (O)10
Bonds is loving it that all the A.L. teams forego the walk and pitch to him in every situation. Only the Twins held him down at SF...since then he has gone nuts. Look for more of the same tonight and KC to get out of the gate on Schmidt as well now that Sweeney has been back for awhile.
BOST/HOUS (O)11
J Johnson and R. Rupe???? Vs. these two offenses?? Only the Astros bullpen can leave a question mark on this one. Rupe was dumped by the Devil Rays and then ended up in AAA. Red Sox are out of pitchers and the ones they have left can't figure their way out of the bullpen much less an inning. Look for the Red Sox to get a few early and the Astros to score at will throughout the game. This should go over the large number.
Flor -120
Penney vs. a Ranger team starting a AAA pitcher with a questional ERA in Oklahoma is in deep trouble here......worth the small price on the Marlins.
THAT's IT AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!! GoldV
