Once again, supporters of the bill to ban Internet gambling, Bill H.R. 2143, have successfully postponed the House vote in order to gather more support. Originally scheduled for Thursday of last week, June 9th, this vote is now scheduled to occur sometime this week. Leaders in Congress are realizing this is a more controversial issue than they originally thought and have been met with strong opposition in their attempts to ban online gambling.
