What us mishugenas won't bet on!
Doing a little reading in Israel Premier League..
12:50PM ET.. Elitzor Ashkelon -4 vs. Givaat Shmuel on Pinnacle
These little analysis from an european b-ball forum...
ELITZUR ASHKELON
Comments: Ashkelon has assembled the best team in their history, at least on paper. Coach, Ben Halachmi has signed a new contract and will try to improve on their 4th place finish last season. They will get their first taste of Europe, in the EuroCup Challenge. But a lack of team chemistry might hurt their chances in Israel and Europe.
Last season: 3rd place-semifinalist
Prediction: 6th place
Coach: Ariel Bet Halechmi(3rd season)
MACCABI GIVAT SHMUEL
Comments: Givat Shmuel has managed to keep their experienced Israeli core, but they lacked the means to sign quality foreigners. Don't expect much from this club.
Last season: 7th place-quarterfinalist
Prediction: 10th place
Coach: Ronen Ginzburg(1st season)
Ashkelon beat a team in the 3rd round of something called BSL, 97-74, that beat a pretty good team 101-85 in the first round, and Givat lost to a team, 90-74 in the third round that lost the 101-85 game
So... I'm placing a SMALL wager on the favorite Elitzor Ashkelon -4
Follow at your own risk, good luck if you do, and if we win Mazel Tov to us, I hope I've done a Mitzvah to the forum!
