Today is the start of an exciting season, the season of the new American Pass Time Nextel Cup Series Racing, better known as NASCAR. It’s been around officially since 1949, I’ve been following it since 1985. However, it has recently reached mainstream proportions like no other sport of this era. Today is the race that all Americans recognize and may be the one race they watch all year. You could relate this one to the Kentucky Derby or The Indianapolis 500, the one event spectators come out for. I’ll be here for the next 36 races and provide some insight to these races, teams that might win and give out some head to head selections. Good luck everyone.
