After stinking up this site I said I would stop posting picks, but like I a bad marriage I keep coming back.
So here goes...
N. Iowa -5 over Indiana st.
UNI shooting 53% from the field. Sycamores shooting 38% and allowing teams, an MVC 2nd worst, to shoot 45%. They fall behind early and stay behind, I hope.
Kentucky -6 over Kansas
Young Jayhawk team hasn't played a road game yet. 9-0 @ home 1-0 Neutral. Kentucky is a tough spot to break that cherry with no Kin folk in site.
I also like the system of a lower ranked team favored over a higher ranked team, and in this case 6 point is a substantial number.
NC State -1' over Miami
Miami is 7-1 at home this year, and State is a small favorite. Their last loss knocked them out of the AP top 25. NC should arrive focused for this conference afair. I also like NC for the fact that they got a lot of backing by bettors in their last 2 and disappointed them, on 1/2 bet from +8' down to +7 vs. W Va and on 12/30 -13' to -15' vs. St John. All while Miami has been played on and played heavy last out from +18 to +15 and they did not disappoint. That says to me the odds makers are expecting Miami money.
Good Luck to All
and for what it's worth I am glad to be back here.
