The Hoops Index for College Basketball is now in it's fourth year. We will be updating our ratings and Top 30 on a daily basis. How it works: The difference in the ratings of two teams is the outcome we would expect on a neutral court. For example, a team with a rating of 100 should be able to beat a team with a rating of 90 by 10 on a neutral court. Add 5 points for home court advantage. That's it! If the 100 rated team is at home, we would expect them to win by 15. If you are still confused, just relax. We do all the math for you. Just to give you guys a little info on how to use this info. What I do is look at the forecast and the actual spreads then see what is really out of whack and play it the farther apart the spred from the predicted score the more I bet.
