Well...went 2-1 yesterday (boy did the Red Sox give me a HUGE scare!!) but still ended up losing money because BYU played like a bunch of retards and turned the ball over on every other posession.
For Saturday...
MLB:
ST. Louis -160
Cards come through again and finish off the Dodgers in 3. Los Angeles has not proven that they can play with St. Louis, and I think the series ends here in LA.
New York -170
Any time I get the chance to bet on the best team in baseball as a DOG...I take it. Santana is LIGHTS OUT and Vazquez has been tragic as of late...but I think the Yanks will keep it close through 6 and beat the Twins in the later innings.
I wouldn't bet the house on this one...but I think it's worth a value bet on the money line.
NY/Minnesota under 8.5
Santana doesn't give up many runs when he's on the mound. PERIOD. Don't think the Twins will light up Vazquez that badly. Look for this to be a low scoring affair.
