No I am not crazy! I realize KC has their backs up
against the wall and a loss tonight will put them at
0-4 and will give them virtually no chance to make the
playoffs! Do I think they will be motivated???
ABSOLUTELY! I am also aware of the fact that Vermeil
is 2-0 against Baltimore since taking the job at KC!
I am also aware that Baltimore is 1-4 ATS when coming
off 2+ SU wins!! But throw all of this out the window
because tonight the biggest motivating factor will be
DOUBLE REVENGE!!!! Baltimore lost last two including
last years 17-10 defeat at the hands of Dante Hall,
who returned a kick 97 yards for the game winning TD!
There is no better way to get revenge than on Monday
night and on Primetime TV!!! These are two teams who
rely heavily on the run and therein lies the problem;
only ONE team can actually defend it!!!! BALTIMORE!!!
Baltimore comes in with a top 10 run defense and will
shut Holmes down (bad ankle or not!). Meanwhile, KC
has one of the worst run defenses in the league (#29);
and this is not good when you are facing the #2 run
offense in the league!!!! Can you say "Lewis" because
that's all you will hear tonight...."Jamal Lewis runs
for another 8 yards", "Ray Lewis makes another great
tackle"....Lewis, Lewis, Lewis on both sides of the
ball....Baltimore rolls!!!!!
