WISCONSIN BADGERS -15.5
The ONLY question in my mind is the Badger's running back situation. Not only is All-America candidate Davis out for UW, his talented backup Dwayne Smith has had to give up football because of a heart condition. That leaves the load to Booker Stanley, a third year sophmore who was less than impressive last year. Backing up Stanley are two future studs, Jamil Walker and Chris Pressley. Last week Stanley carried 12 times for 47 yards, Pressley carried 8 times and fumbled twice, and Walker missed the game with a fever. All this being said, UW wants this game BAD. This is a circle game for them as they are determined to pay back UNLV for an embarassing 23-5 loss last year. Last year's loss featured 8 sacks and 5 turnovers by UW. The entire offensive unit is sky high for redemption. I don't see UW letting up early in this one. I see it somewhere in the neighborhood of Wisconsin 45 UNLV 14.
