I'm laying some juice today with three hot teams Vs. 3 of the worst in the league:
Atlanta w/ Ortiz -260
Braves 9-1 in their last 10 games, Ortiz was named pitcher of the month for July, going 5-0 with a 1.67 ERA and on the season he's 12-6 with a 3.16 era. dbacks continue to suck, 3-7 in thier last 10 and lost 3 in a row, Fossum is 2-10, 6.38 ERA
Yankees w/ Lieber -210
Yanks get another crack at Batista who got the only Blue Jays win over the Yanks at toronto earlier this year. Lieber also pitched in that game, but lost 3-2 in 10 innings. Lieber got shelled last time out, but needs this win badly in order to avoid being sent to the bullpen when Mussina comes back. Yanks are heating up again 7-3 last 10 + won 4 in a row, jays are 4-6 last 10 and lost 4 in a row.
Angelss w/ Lackey -160
Third game of the 4 game series, and the hapless royals should go down in flames yet again. Lackey, 5-8 with a 5.02 ERA at the end of June, had great JUly stats He went 4-1 with a 3.06 ERA in five July starts, including an 8 1/3 inning, two-hit, 2-0 victory over Texas on July 28, but got bombed by the twins last week. Angels 7-3 last 10. for the royals wood is 1-1 with a 5.82 ERA in three home starts and overall 1-4, 5.13 ERA.
