What they need to do to allow the small conference teams in and not weed out the other deserving teams is have the teams ranked 1-64 for the ones who qualify and then instead of having a two team play in they will have 32 teams play in, the 1-32 get a bye and the others are put in as play ins to certain spots which they will play a home game at the higher seeded team. That way the true 64 best teams will be playing in the tournament and the lesser teams get to experience it too. Just my thought and would definitely increase revenue and probably eliminate the NIT though...I just think there are on about the top 35-40 teams in the country playing in the tourney and this would help get the rest in...
