  • NFL Playoffs No. 5 Seattle Seahawks vs. No. 4 Philadelphia Eagles

Wild Card Weekend wraps up this Sunday with the tightest of the four games on the NFL odds board. The Seattle Seahawks (11-5 SU, 7-8-1 ATS) are 2.5-point road favorites at press time versus the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles (9-7 SU, 7-9 ATS), up from –1 at the open, with the total holding steady at 46. Game time is 4:40 PM ET on NBC; the weather forecast calls for a chance of snow at kick-off.

Injuries have been a big problem for both teams this season. In addition to their issues at running back, the Seahawks have lost LB Mychal Kendricks to a torn ACL; safety Quandre Diggs may be able to return from the sprained ankle that cost him the last two games of the regular season. Philadelphia’s problems worsened last week when RG Brandon Brooks dislocated his shoulder, landing him on injured reserve alongside 11 of his teammates.

Sunday will mark the first time Seattle and Philadelphia have ever met in the playoffs. The Pete Carroll-Russell Wilson Seahawks are 5-0 SU and ATS against Philly in regular-season action and 3-1 SU and ATS overall in the Wild Card round.
