It's a TON of wood but hear me out! USF comes into this game with only 9 players and 2 of those players are walk-ons. The team has been in total chaos since starter Bryant went down with a season ending knee injury and fellow starter Baxter walked off the team. USF has played 3 games since and have LOST all 3 by an average margin of 34 POINTS!!! During this stretch their offense has been non-existent hitting only 32% from the floor while their defense is giving up almost 50%!! Mem comes in off 3 straight wins by an average of 17.3 pts and against much better competition! It was 6 games ago that this Mem team marched into Villanova and totally DOMINATED them from start to finish. After that game Mem lost 2 tough B2B games on the ROAD against DePaul and So Miss. It was after that 2nd loss that John Calipari had a talk with his team. He felt his team was playing tight and told them to just relax and play their game. The Mem players have responded well!! Mem is very comfortable at home where they have already knocked off Mizzou and took WF down to the wire! Additionally, Mem has owned USF and are 9-1SU/7-2-1ATS L10 mtgs. USF will not be able match the physical style play by Mem because of their lack of depth and talent!! Look for Mem to control the boards and for their big men to have a huge game inside! Lay the wood and take it to the BANK!!!
