Here's the cliff notes version if you haven't been following the NHL Playoffs...
EVERY single series has been clinched by the visiting team (e.g. Philadelphia in Game 5 at New Jersey, Pittsburgh in Game 6 at Ottawa and San Jose in Game 6 at Colorado).
CONVERSELY, every single series in which the team has had the opportunity to close out the series on home ice has LOST (e.g. Pittsburgh at home in Game 5, Washington at home in Game 5 and soon to be the Red Wings at home in Game 6).
That brings us to today's late game. Vancouver goes for the close-out in LA tonight. We are going to ride the trend here and make Vancouver my NHL NUT OF THE WEEK!!!
