NBA Injury Report
NBA Injury Report (Check it before you make your plays)
The injury report is getting kind of cluttered towards the end of the season. Here are injuries that are relevant to tonight's games. I'm only including recent developments, and not people that have been out for the season for months. Major and recent developments in bold.
Boston at Atlanta
- Josh Smith (ATL) suspended for two games by team after an expletive-filled tirade at coach Woodson late in a loss to 76ers.
- Al Jefferson (BOS) and Delonte West (BOS) both day-to-day but both doubtful for tonight's game.
Miami at Charlotte
- Miami - None. Dwyane Wade returned and came off the bench in their last game and struggled, but otherwise no injuries.
- Matt Carroll (CHA) day-to-day but doubtful with a back injury.
- Adam Morrison (CHA) out with sprained knee. He may play today, and has extra incentive to play because Charlotte is giving away fake moustaches at the game in his honor.
New Jersey at Washington
- New Jersey - None.
- Washington - Obviously without Arenas and Butler. Calvin Booth probably to return today.
Indiana at Philadelphia
- Jamaal Tinsley (IND) doubtful for tonight's game.
- Jeff Foster (IND) expected to play tonight after missing three straight games.
- Kyle Korver (PHI) will not play after tearing a small tendon in his wrist.
- Rodney Carney (PHI) doubtful after spraining his knee late in Sunday's game with the Hawks.
LA Clippers at New Orleans
- Tim Thomas (LAC) said he will try to play tonight after spraining his left wrist, but will probably have limited minutes.
- Desmond Mason (NOH) out for the rest of the regular season after getting surgery on a broken nose.
- Tyson Chandler (NOH) unlikely to play in Tuesday's game, but should be ready for Friday's game.
Sacramento at Memphis
- Kenny Thomas (SAC) out for the season with a toe injury.
- Rudy Gay (MEM) sprained his right ankle late in Friday's game and did not play Saturday. He is doubtful for tonight's game.
- Damon Stoudamire (MEM) and Mike Miller (MEM) likely out for season.
New York at Chicago
- Stephon Marbury (NYK) will not play in Tuesday's game.
- Renaldo Balkman (NYK) and David Lee (NYK) both day-to-day and both may or may not play tonight.
- Bulls - no major injuries.
