Went 1-1 yesterday losing some juice. Here are my bets for tonight:
Angels (-125) - Jered Weaver has been awesome this year and it was a joke when they sent him down, maybe they wouldn't be in last place if he pitched the whole year. He is 5-0 with a great 1.35 era this year. Almost as impressive is in 33.1 innings he has only walked 5 batters and struck out 31. The Angels have won 6 of their last 7 games during which the starters have a 1.71 era in those 7 games.
Tigers (-116) 2 units - Detroit has won 6 straight against the Mariners and Tiger starters are 4-0 with a .63 era vs Seattle this year. Tigers have the best record in MLB at 58-28 with an impressive 21-14 road record. Seattle has lost 5 in a row and has only scored 11 runs during thier losing streak. Miner is 5-0 with a 2.18 era last 5 starts and Washburn is 0-1 with a 6.38 era over his last 4 starts.
