After watching the press conference by Drew Rosenhause today- and seeing his inability to answer any question that had any relevance to his client and any question that was directed towards him, it got me asking;
Which is better for a pro-athlete.
Now with salary caps and max contracts do you feel it is better for an athlete to stick with an agent, hire a lawyer and financial advisor, or have his family and friends help him out. My friend, who is a financial advisor and myself have thought about representing athletes-- by offering 2 services for one; an individual with a law degree and a financial advisor to help with the money. We feel the day of the agent unfamiliar with the law and unable to help with the finances is over. What do you all think?
