  • Professionals Say They Know Digital Marketing Tools

Marketing professionals from all over Brazil participated in a survey on the Digital Marketing Strategies most used by the market. The unprecedented study was carried out by Digitalks, in partnership with Opinion Box, and presented during the Digital Marketing Forum, in Rio de Janeiro, on July 6th. 399 professionals in the area were interviewed between March 28th and April 11th. The poll's margin of error is 4.9 percentage points and the confidence level is 95%. The research sought to understand how marketers are adopting different digital marketing strategies in their work.

It was found that professionals know important marketing tools, such as a blog (100% of the public), email marketing (100%), online videos (99%), e-books (98%), social media ads (95% ), SEO (94%), webinar (93%), sales funnel (89%), marketing automation (88%), programmatic media (86%), real time marketing/lives (82%) and growth mobile phone number list hacking ( 58%). However, the numbers are less expressive if related to those who have used or currently use them. 90% adopt email marketing for their campaigns, 87% blogs, 84% online videos, 77% social media ads, 71% for SEO, 70% e-books and 65% for the sales funnel. “Two points stand out in these numbers.

The first is that despite the high degree of knowledge of the tools/strategies, experience with them is quite low in several of the items. The second is the greater lack of knowledge, comparatively, of the growth hacking strategy, a term that has frequently been on the agenda of various online content and at the main events in the country in recent years”, clarifies Felipe Schepers, COO of Opinion Box. The survey also found that other tools are also used, but with little experience, such as webinars (55%), programmatic media (55%), marketing automation (53%), real time marketing (43%) and growth hacking (24 %). The study also structured a ranking considering which strategies and tools professionals believe are most effective today.
