    SANTA ANITA -- Race #4 -- LILA HOPE (#7)
    __________________________________________________ __________________

Today's 4th race is a one mile turf event for California bred fillies and mares. The par for this allowance N1x level is a 101. Our speed figures report shows that this is a very wide open race with many sub par figures. Races like this one tend to produce high priced longshots, since the winning figures are likely to be under par.

Our spot play for today will be LILA HOPE. This filly from the Jenine Sahadi barn is listed at 20-1 on the morning line which means LILA HOPE is the longest shot in the race. Based on our report, 20-1 is simply wrong. LILA HOPE has proven to be very effective ever since she was stretched out in distance. This daughter of Sharp Victor broke her maide with very solid figures of 103-100-98. She followed that race with a 99-96-96+ for her first try at this level. I think LILA HOPE may have bounced a little off her maiden score, but Sahadi has freshened her filly since that start.

Let's roll the dice and shoot for a price. Play LILA HOPE in the straight pools and use the favorite OVERNIGHTSENSATION as our key exacta and quinella mate. Good luck!
