My lone play of the day is one I like a lot. Trainer and jockey are going wild at this meet, as usual. Drops in for $5,000 claiming tag and he won the last two times ahe raced at that level. Has been facing slightly better lately but at a lesser track. Deep deep closer will need some pace but is an outstanding 5-for-7 at today's 1 1/16 mile distance. Likely second choice in wagering behind #4 Privateer, the only other one in this field of six with a prayer.
