DEL MAR -- Race #6 -- CYBER SLEW (#4)

The 6th race is for fillies and mares going seven furlongs at the allowance N3x level. Par is a 106. Based on our speed figures report, CYBER SLEW (4-1) looks to have the most competitive figures to win at today's level. Trainer Doug O'Neill has done a very good job of spacing CYBER SLEW's races so that she can stay sharp while keeping her form cycle from going "over the top".
In 2004, CYBER SLEW has earned multiple figures that would hit hard at today's 106 par. She cleared her allowance N1x conditions versus California breds with figures of 103-105+ at the 102 level. Later she beat open company at the 103 level with figures of 100-103+. CYBER SLEW's allowance N2x score came over the Hollywood Park turf course at 5 1/2 fulongs. She won that start earning figures of 105-106. CYBER SLEW has run well in both starts at today's seven furlong distance and also has a win over this track. I think 4-1 on the morning line is much more than generous.
I would have to spread deep in the exotics, since I can't stand behind any one contender. A straight wager on CYBER SLEW will be my focus today. If anyone is interested in a longshot exacta or two, why not try X-Factor WILD STORM and WOODLASS to shake things up a bit. Good luck!
