Urgent Please Read/respond!!!! Part 2

Its a fucking joke. They tried to do surgery over the weekend and it didnt work out. They had to stop before they even really started and put her in an induced coma to stop the pain. Now she is saying there really arent much options left except a few grasps at straws. She has metastatic cancer and metastatic stands for travelling or spreading. It originated from ovarian cancer and now has spread to different parts of her body like her abdmonen, breasts, spleen, etc. Whats even worse is she didnt want me to be there over the weekend as she didnt want to upset me. So I was staying at home waiting for updates from her best friend all weekend which was beyond excruciating worry and concern. She is still in the hospital right now and I could barely eat, sleep, or drank properly and could do nothing about the whole ordeal. I really dont know what to expect the next couple of months. Words cant even explain the stress I have been going through but cant complain as much as if I was her. Nonetheless I believe in miracles and hopefully she gets one. Just horrible cancer is I really hope one day a cure is found for all the different types. The whole situation has really given me a better perspective on life to say the least.

Chad, have you considered joining a support group for family, friends, etc. of cancer victims? It might help you to share your experiences with others and vice versa. I know this is a very stressful time. Here are a couple of links I found through a google search. Another possibility would be to find an in-person support group in your community. Just a thought. Horrible...

She has been given prognosis of 2 months to live...

thanks for your concern however....I appreciate it...she was told this same thing 10 years ago about the survival time when she was first diagnosed and lasted this long....maybe she gets a miracle again...I am praying....

We got up to 100 last week in central Cali.....

Supposed to be 100 or more every day for about the next week here on the southern Plains. I bought my dog a plastic swimming pool yesterday so he can keep cool during the day. He just thought it was a big water bowl. All he does is drink out of it...dumbass...at least he won't get dehydrated.
