I just read the highway fatalities in North Dakota are down for this year compared to the last couple, Should we raise it back to .01?

A new push by the National Transportation Safety Board will decrease the legal level of booze in your blood from the current .08% to .05%—basically it's going to be illegal to drive at all after you've had any amount of alcohol.

The plan was announced in Washington this morning and adopted by all member states. The reason is hard to argue: One-third of all traffic fatalities in America are caused by drunken drivers. That's about 10,000 people killed by or in an automobile every year.



Time to start a Taxi service.

I don't have the link but strong winds are pushing this ice up and it's slowly just crushing into houses. It's moving slow like lava but it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I think CNN.com or weather channel has videos of it. It's in Canada and Minnesota
