New England Quarterback Tom Brady has been officially traded to the Buffalo Bills. The New England Patriots could not pass up a deal that was offered by the Bills when they have backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Garoppolo was very effective when Brady was out the first 4 games last year imposed by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. New England will also make it a priority to draft another QB in this years draft.
The Buffalo bills offered up there first, second and third round picks for the next 4 years in order to get Tom Brady. As well as trading wide receiver Sammy Watkins and running back LeSean McCoy. Buffalo has now found a way to beat the New England Patriots with their former quarterback now at the helm of the Bill's offense. The Buffalo Bills expect that Brady will play until the age of 48 years old which no other quarterback has ever came close to doing. Bill's Coach Sean McDermott stated "That now Buffalo can finally win a SuperBowl".
We don't know about that, but Brady also was due for a huge signing bonus which the bills took care of the $14 million tab. Which was the second of his signing bonus due to him. So New England has started to cut costs as they realize that with Tom Brady getting older and the doubts of whether Bill Belichick would be coming back was the best move for the organization stated owner Robert Kraft.
Meanwhile, Roger Goodell has decided to step down as the NFL commissioner in regards to the deflategate accusations which caused Brady to have to sit out 4 games last year. When asked why he was stepping down he stated "That with such a big comeback by the Patriots in the Super Bowl has just intensified the fans of Tom Brady and the Patriots that Goodell just can't take the heat any more".
