In July 2012 a New York native Keith Rawlings was hit by a foul ball at the Cleveland Indians Stadium and it ended up blinding the man. The case went to Court and the Jury found in favor of the Cleveland Indians. Rawlings Attorney could not be reached for comment. The Indians Attorney Todd Hicks responded stating "was pleased with the verdict". Hicks went on to argue before the jury that the case could have wide ranging implications for ballparks and teams around the Country.
