  • Floyd Mayweather pities his foes

Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s mouth matches his fists. Both are undefeated.

They had better not fail him Saturday in his welterweight bout against fellow six-time champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. A megadollar match against Manny Pacquiao in the fall is at stake.

Losing was of no concern to third-person Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) during a conference call.

"I've always said before, there's no remedy on how to beat Floyd Mayweather," he said. "Everyone is trying to solve the problem and, like a difficult math problem, no one can solve it."

Mosley (46-5, 39 KOs) has played the confident good guy in keeping with his veteran status. His opponent will say what he has to in selling himself and, as importantly, the fight.

"[Mayweather] just starts getting a little crazy and going back to the things that he's used to doing," said Mosley. "But, I don't know if you'd say good versus evil."

Well, everyone likes to root for the underdog. But it's asking a lot of the 38-year-old to pull off the upset.

    The pay-per-view telecast will cost $54.95 at 9 p.m.
